The reason the front drain on the moonroof doesn't work - Fixed Now!

I saw this pinched off drain hose when I was changing my headliner on my 98 CE. I pulled the smaller tube out of the larger tube and saw it was plugged. Even when I cleaned it out and tried squeezing it, it only opened half way. Then I put in a small section of some aluminum tubing I had, to keep it from pinching off again. I did this to my 97 also, it had the same problem.

An elegant fix.

I should do this with mine. I'm not excited about removing the headliner. I know it's not even that hard, but I don't want to do it. :)

I just removed the left sunvisor and the A pillar trim. You can bend the headliner down enough to get the tube out. Just pop the push pins out that hold the wire harness for easy access. Be careful to not crack the headliner. The harness is only on the driver side.
